The AMS World Tour 2026 is an international training and competition concept for emerging talents in cardiac surgery. Across more than 13 locations worldwide, this unique event brings together experts and innovative medical technologies. Participants demonstrate their skills in various disciplines – from preparation and suturing and knotting techniques to the final quality of the anastomosis.

The aim is to promote cardiac surgical skills at the highest level and to make talent visible. The contests take place in renowned expert centers around the globe and culminate in the grand final at the EACTS Annual Meeting 2026 in Barcelona from October 7–10, 2026.

The winner will receive an exclusive observership in an international expert center – a unique opportunity to further refine their skills at the highest level.
